Symptoms of a yeast Infection?

This is kind of embarrassing, but for the past two days I have had minor itching and yesterday a lot of discharge. The discharge didn't smell bad or look a weird color, there was just a lot of it and it was I don't know, more... cottage cheesy? I used a vaginal contraceptive film for the first time Monday and the next day my symptoms started so I'm wonder if maybe that caused it? (VCF=spermicide)
