Never had a bad sun burn?

Was in fla and the first day I was severly sun burnt. Used sun block yet it appeared not to work. I had a bad fever that night. The fever broke and I barely could move. Three days later I stayed inside due to the severness. Now my face is peeling like no other and I have tons of blisters around my neck. Trying to stay out of the sun yet these blisters just appeared today. Just wandering if I need to worry or if this is the horrible steps of recovery. Thanks to all!
