A good book to take on holiday?

I am going to Naples, Fla. to relax after a week in orlando and will just be loungeing around our resort on the beach and by the pool. I am a teenage girl but love to read as my mum is a librarian so i have been brought up to read. She has told me to find some books to take so she can order them in advance to make sure they are here but i don't know any good books. I have read and enjoyed sophie kinsella's shopaholic series, along for the ride- Sarah dessen, all of Malorie blackmans books and things like that. What books do you recommend that are funny and a light read (nothing to serious) and they don't need to be specifically for teens as i have read adult books before and as long as they are not super rude (i.e russel brands booky wooks) Thanks in advance :)
