Seller/buyer rights.....?

my husband sold a motorcycle over the weekend and now the buyer wants his money back...he says the front is damaged and that it pulls to the right, buyer came out with his family checked out the bike started it up , had his wife sit on it and decided he wanted it. now he wants his money back...I know the whole buyer beware but there are a few issues that Im not sure about, when my husband got the bike from a friend he never transferred the title into his name and signed the bill of sale with the name on the title.. can he get in trouble and does the buyer have a leg to stand on as far as taking us to court
