What is going on with my vagina?

So I've asked a question before because I was having sex with my boyfriend and we noticed these small, white balls that looked like razor gel balls. It was weird. They do NOT smell, and they aren't little balls anymore. It more looks like sticky old toilet paper now (clean sheets that are purely white and roll up into balls until they are in water and then unroll again). I know it sounds gross and weird, please spare me all the "go to the doctors" stuff. I'm asking first, because I want to know what's going on with my body. I looked up some possible things and I've come to two. Yeast Infection, which to me, doesn't seem likely, because it's NOT difficult to urinate and it doesn't stink and it doesn't look like cottage cheese. Another is BV (Bacterial Vaginosis) which seems more probable. BUT I would like to know, if it is contagious? If my boyfriend may have given it to me from someone else? Is it treatable at home? Is it really serious? What are some other symptoms of it that people generally miss. Chances are, I'm not pregnant. But everything is possible. It's actually a really low percentage that I am.
