How often does a plumber do ladder work on roofs?

I am enrolling in trade school for plumbing in Fla. how often does a plumber need to go on roofs or in attics? I can manage a single story roof...but anything higher and I freak. My legs physically shake.I don't wanna seem like a wuss when I enter the field. please help. thank you!
